What is Ğ1 (June)?
A libre currency based on the Relative Theory of Money. It runs on the open-source Duniter software, and every member receives newly created Ğ1 each day as a “Universal Dividend”. Launched in March 2017 and moved to Duniter v2 in March 2026. There is no referral link or referral bonus
How to start
Create a wallet and get certified by at least 5 existing members through the Web of Trust. Certifiers are expected to know you in person
Note: The community is mostly French-speaking and built on in-person ties, so joining from outside it (e.g. from Japan) is very hard. Non-members can still hold Ğ1 in a wallet but do not receive the daily dividend. Ğ1 is mainly traded for goods and services, and swapping it for regular money is peer-to-peer only
