Verification
Verification methods: how basic income apps check you are one real person
Most apps that pay you just for existing first need to know that you are a real person and that you have signed up only once. This is often called proof of personhood. Each method asks you to hand over something different, from biometrics to a phone number, or nothing at all. Pick a method to see the services that use it.

About biometric data
A face or iris scan is data you cannot change if it leaks. Some operators say the images are deleted or processed only in encrypted form, but this site cannot check that. Before you sign up, read how each service stores your data and whether you can have it deleted, and weigh that against what you get.
