Ubiquitus
What you get
A small equal cash share on the 1st of each month (Venmo)
What is Ubiquitus?
A US “basic income anyone can join” experiment. Voluntary gifts form a pool invested mainly in stocks (with a small crypto sleeve), and each month 0.5% of it is split equally among all members and paid via Venmo. Giving does not increase your share. Started in 2023 by founder and developer Ryan Frigo. The October 2026 payout was $0.10 each to 266 people. There is no referral link or referral bonus
How to start
US residents aged 18+. Verify with a 1¢ Venmo transaction (no ID upload, no means test)
Note: As of Oct 2026 it cannot be used from Japan (the terms limit it to US residents; not working from Japan was confirmed first-hand). The per-person amount is tiny, falls with the pool, and payouts are stated to be not guaranteed and able to stop at any time. It describes itself as an informal social experiment, not a company. Recipients must report payments as income
